Our breeding program is meticulously designed to produce dogs with the temperament, health, and trainability required for demanding assistance work. Our breeding sires from the finest Labrador Retriever lineage in Australia, Morndew Labrador Retrievers, ensures our puppies inherit the World class genetics necessary for success.
All our puppies benefit from a specially designed Early Neurological Stimulation program, inspired by the renowned “Super Pups” initiative used by the US Military. This program focuses on optimising socialisation and habituation during the critical phase of development, ensuring well-rounded and confident personalities. Our program emphasises positive reinforcement and early socialisation which prepares our puppies for the demands of assistance work. All of our pups leave our program (or continue with our program) possessing the confidence, adaptability, and resilience needed to excel at their important role.
As our puppies mature, they undergo specialised training tailored to their specific needs as assistance dogs. Whether for guide work, mobility assistance, or emotional support, we focus on honing their natural abilities to make a tangible difference in the lives of others.
While our primary focus is on breeding assistance dogs, we understand that some dogs may be better suited for therapy or companionship roles. We carefully assess each puppy’s individual temperament and abilities, and make placement decisions based on need and demand. This ensures that each dog finds the perfect match, maximising their potential to contribute to the well-being of others.
